1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use airender.ai:
- Account information: Name and email address when you register
- OAuth data: Profile information from Google when you sign in with Google
- Uploaded photos: Photos of your rooms that you upload to redesign, stored securely in Cloudflare R2
- Redesign data: Generated redesign images, shopping lists, prompts, project names, and settings
- Usage data: Features used, redesign counts, and interactions with the service
- Attribution data: Landing page, referral source, campaign parameters, anonymous visitor ID, session ID, device category, and country
- Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe; we do not store card details
- ChatGPT plugin data: If you use airender inside ChatGPT, the room photo you attach there, the budget, style and wishes you give for that room, and the country ChatGPT reports for you
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate room redesigns and shopping lists from your uploaded photos
- To store and display your redesign history and projects
- To process subscription and one-time payments and manage your plan
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, purchase receipts)
- To send product emails about your account and designs, such as a reminder that a design you made is saved, tips for using airender, or an offer on unlocking a room. Every product email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect transactional emails.
- To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
- To improve the quality and reliability of the service
- To respond to support requests
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored in MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Authentication tokens are stored in HTTP-only cookies to prevent XSS attacks. Uploaded images and generated renders are stored in Cloudflare R2 with private access controls. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate airender.ai:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): For analyzing uploaded room photos and planning the redesign
- OpenAI: For generating the redesigned image from your photo. If you connect airender to ChatGPT, OpenAI also operates ChatGPT, which receives the results you ask for there (see section 7)
- fal.ai: For upscaling images you export
- Amazon: For the products, prices and buy links in your shopping list. When you follow a buy link you leave airender.ai for Amazon, which handles your purchase under its own privacy policy. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases
- Cloudflare R2: For storing uploaded and generated images
- Whop and Stripe: For payment processing on subscription and one-time payments
- Google OAuth: For optional sign-in with Google
- Google Analytics and DataFast: For website and product analytics
- Whop Pixel: For measuring visits and key actions (sign-up, photo upload, finished design, Amazon cart click) so we can tell which marketing brings people to airender.ai. It uses cookies and browser identifiers. We do not send it your email, photos, or designs
- Namecheap Private Email: For sending account and product emails
- Loops: For managing email contact lists
Each service has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for them to function. Your uploaded photos may be processed by Anthropic, OpenAI and fal.ai for the purpose of generating your redesign. They are not used to train third-party models.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and first-party cookies or browser storage for analytics and attribution. Attribution records may include an anonymous visitor ID, session ID, original landing page, referral source, and campaign parameters. These records help us understand which pages and campaigns lead to product use and purchases. We do not use this information to store payment-card details or sell personal data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and renders for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and stored images will be removed within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or compliance purposes.
- Usage and attribution records: deleted automatically 90 days after they are created
- ChatGPT connection: the record that keeps ChatGPT connected to your account expires 60 days after it was last used, and is deleted at once when you disconnect
- ChatGPT request records: the bookkeeping record of each design started from ChatGPT is deleted after 30 days. The design itself stays in your account like any other
7. Using airender inside ChatGPT
airender is available as a plugin in ChatGPT. It works only after you connect your airender account and press Allow on airender.ai.
- What we receive from ChatGPT: the photo you attach for a room, the budget, style and wishes you give, and the country ChatGPT reports for you, which we use to match products to your country. ChatGPT also sends anonymous identifiers with each request; we do not store them. We do not receive your ChatGPT conversations
- What we send to ChatGPT: what you asked for there: the redesigned picture, our list of pieces with our estimated prices, a link to your room on airender.ai, and the email address of the connected account so ChatGPT can show which account is connected
- What it is used for: making the design you asked for and saving it to your airender account, the same as a design made on airender.ai
- Your control: choose Disconnect ChatGPT in your account menu on airender.ai, or remove airender in ChatGPT, and ChatGPT loses access to your account immediately. Designs already made stay in your account until you delete them or your account
OpenAI handles what you type and upload in ChatGPT under its own privacy policy.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

9. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
